Adopt-A-Bone Project; Take part in the Ojai Valley Whale Society’s Whale exhibition by participating in the Ojai Whale “Adopt”-a-Bone Project. “Adopt” a bone, and your name-or the name of a person, school, or class you wish to honor-will be displayed with the long-term exhibition of the skeleton. When you make your payment, you will receive a “Certificate of Adoption”, and your gift will also be recognized in the Society’s report. Gifts to the “Adopt”-a-Bone Project are used for the rearticulation/re-creation and exhibition of the Ojai whale skeleton at a museum that will sustain programs of research, exhibits, publications, music and education.

A portion of the revenue generated from the sales of the vast array of merchandise, as described below, will go towards aiding the Ojai Valley Whale Society to fund further research and educational programs.

'Spirit of Pahat' are various sculptures of Ojaicetus in the mediums of steel, wood and mixed media, as well as our bone replicas which provide a tangible experience. We offer museum quality fossil bone replicas. Each piece is an exact replica designed to be handled and studied by students, collectors, scientists, and natural history buffs. They are cast in professional grade casting compound and are designed to replicate the look, feel and weight of the original fossil. Store policies

"Whale Song of the Chumash": These beautiful songs have been passed down by Ojai's Native Chief, the Honorable Vincent Tumamait, direct lineal descendant of the "Island People" from Mashchal, Santa Cruz Island, (also known as Orizaba). It gives me extreme honor to be allowed to steward and preserve these sacred songs!

"Pahat's Fishing Adventure" is a fictional narrative based on a true story. Summary: While fishing on the shore of a nearby lake and playing the most ancient of musical instruments, the Bones, a young man catches a catfish and discovers a Prehistoric Whale who reveals mysteries about life, survival, the greater outdoors and Mother Nature.
